This installer contains all OpenAFS components in one easy to install package. It is distributed for free, however no technical support is provided.

Features:

  • One installer contains 64-bit and 32-bit components plus Heimdal Kerberos.
  • Not vulnerable to OPENAFS-SA-2015-007.
  • Works around Explorer Shell bug that results in Explorer or other applications being unable to access \\afs via UNC paths.
  • Windows OS upgrade from 7 and 8.x to 10 does not require OpenAFS re-install.

Known issues:

  • In rare situations connectivity to AFS servers is lost after a System Resume.
  • This client bundles a version of Heimdal Kerberos that includes the Orpheus' Lyre vulnerability: CVE-2017-11103. After installation, install Heimdal 7.4 or later from Secure Endpoints, Inc..
